Make Vegetables, Not Walls, With Herbert

Two and a half years ago, two veggie enthusiasts came together and decided they wanted to make people’s walls green.
In the past few years, there has been a growing awareness about food sources, especially vegetables and of course, meat. Many cities, such as Paris and Seoul have projects for buildings which hold forests and vegetables farms in an attempt to feed the growing world population without further deforestation and other negative consequences.
In addition to these great projects, the two veggie-lovers decided to go from the bottom-up and show people in cities how easy it can be to grow vegetables indoors, regardless whether you live in a 2-story house, or in a 40 sqm apartment.
After many trials and errors, Herbert was born, a hydroponic vertical picture frame, which you can hang anywhere in your apartment. Anywhere, even in the basement. The LED mimics sunlight and the water contains an organic mineral fertilizer which provides all the needed nutrients.
To show how easy it will be to hang Herbert up on your walls, we took him on a world tour of some of the most famous walls around! And he took on his alter ego, WALLBERT!

Any wall is good for Wallbert, even a prison wall.

Next, Wallbert visited the Great Wall of China and enjoyed the sunrise.

Wallbert loves walls, but he also loves openness and tolerance.

Wallbert brings a bit of sunshine even if outside it rains.
