London Gives In To The Coronavirus Hysteria

Oblivious to the fact that people are buying out toilet paper, beans, peanut butter and hand-wash – I have gone to my local Sainsbury’s today and realised that the shelves are empty. The isles storing canned foods, spreads, anti-flu medicines and soap are clear.
Wearing a face mask in a street or on a bus is still somewhat of a taboo that seems like an overreaction. How far do we want to go to protect ourselves: just cleaning our hands more often and avoiding touching handrails or being more serious and replicating some of the virus-protection trends such as wearing a clear bucket or a Tesco bag over your head on the public transport?
Hygienic face-mask can be a fashion statement, too. Some brands offer colourful masks with various patterns making you look actually good while at the same time protecting you from the bacteria.
