It all started in Victoria Street, Newcastle after we'd been speaking backwards for a few years, and suddenly realised it wasn't enough!
And so Lackwards Banguage was born with the drawing of a raver giving a granny a pill and a bee with a bucket and spade.
The collection of little bits of paper slowly built up on the kitchen table... We had to find these guys a home!
We started sticking them one by one to the walls of the basement stairs. The (now legendary) parties of Victoria Street were from then on plagued by a crowd of Lackwards-Spotters, note books in hand, blocking the stairs.
Several years (and movings of house) later, we present to you, this online Victoria Street so you can block the stairs of our virtual basement from the comfort of your own home (or wherever you are).
