Kristen Bell had a confession that had fans asking why she was still married to Dax Shepard

Kristen Bell recently admitted that life can be “brutal” while trying to navigate marriage while raising two daughters, Lincoln, 13, and Delta, 11, with Dax Shepard.
In her interview with Bustle published this week, the actress didn't sugarcoat the emotional toll of raising them amid the “cyclone of puberty.”
She even admitted to crying every week due to the toll of family life.

“It’s hard. Do not think because I am on your television that it is easy for me. It’s brutal. I cry weekly,” she told the outlet.
“Oftentimes when you’re in that cyclone of puberty, you could think, My kid is the only one doing this. And that is just simply not a fact,” she added.
However, Bell's candid confession sparked some harsh reactions online.
Her candid statements sparked harsh reactions online, with one asking, “Does she know divorce is legal?”

Several commenters questioned whether crying so frequently over family issues was a sign that something needed to change.
“Crying weekly over marriage challenges? Has anyone told her that’s not the way it’s supposed to work?” one asked.
Another wrote, “He needs to DIVORCE her.”

Similar sentiments were echoed, with one asking: “Does she know divorce is legal?”
“That is sad,” said another.
One fan pointed out that Bell is known to be emotional in nature, saying: You obviously don’t know Kristen Bell. She cries when she’s overwhelmed with joy.”
Bell has admitted she is a “feeler” and struggles with anxiety

During her chat with Bustle, Bell admitted she has a very emotional nature, indicating she feels things so deeply, and it can be overwhelming.
“I’m a feeler,” she said, fighting back tears even as she said it.
“I wish I wasn’t sometimes,” she admitted. “But I also know it leads me to a lot of my creative process. And I think creativity is one of the most important things in the world.”

“To soothe [her] anxiety,” Bell said she took an online course with neuropsychologist Julia DiGangi, whom she described as a “knife through the noise.”
This made the “biggest difference” in her life.
“I still struggle with [anxiety] every day. It’s not anything that’s gone away. I think it takes a long time to change your neural pathways from habits you’ve created,” she said.
The actress explained that she has been finding ways to change the “amount of anxiety” in her body

The Frozen star explained that the brain is like a “pattern detector.”
“That’s the main thing she talks about, and it’s so true,” she said about DiGangi.
“If I can change my patterns, maybe I can change the amount of anxiety in my body,” she added.
Bell’s popular show Nobody Wants This premiered on Netflix on October 22.
The romantic comedy series sees her playing Joanne, an outspoken agnostic podcast host who falls for Noah, a recently single rabbi played by Adam Brody.
Coming from two very different worlds, Joanne and Noah are seen navigating challenges like differences in faith and family expectations.
The Nobody Wants This star said she would give up her career and legacy for her daughters

Bell said she’s now choosy with the projects she takes because her daughters are at the helm of every decision she makes.
“Is [a project] going to pull me away from my kids too much? Will I still be able to be the mom that I want to be? That’s really the No. 1, to be honest,” she said.
“There’s nothing higher than that,” she went on to say. “I would easily let my whole career and all its legacy and notoriety ‘disapparate’ tomorrow if it meant sacrificing something major in my kids’ lives, or not being there.”
“Imagine how much she would cry if she actually lived in the real world,” one commented online
