5 years ago I was looking for a personal gift of my friends birthday at biggest traditional crafts fair in Lithuania. I was thinking to purchase very beautifully knitted wool socks from one old lady. She had hundereds of them and from aside looked very succesful. Shere was selling lots of socks there.
I asked for the price and wanted to know if she gives me a discount if I purchase three pairs of socks. I was dissapointed by the reaction of that lady. She was shouting at me asking not to bother her. My idea was "If this angry lady is able to do this business, I can do better". I purchased 10 pairs of socks to try, made good pictures of them and listed them on the internet to sell. I sold those socks in two days!
At that moment, I was about to decide what business to start. I am going to be a master of socks knitting business! Next day I purchased 10 more pairs of socks and listed again. And didn't sell any of them within 3 months.
I made a research and noticed that there is a huge amount of socks to purchase and much better than mine. Then I needed to think of something unique that nobody sells, looks interesting and would be possible to use as a funny gift. I found out that nobody knits men underwear. It took a couple of months for me to create a design to make a prototype, good quality pictures.
This business grew up from 10 unsold knitted socks into worldwide knitted shorts business. People who buy this product range from the USA to New Zealand. Women purchasing this for their boyfriends and husbands to surprise them for Christmas, Valentines day, birthdays, weddings and many more occasions. Perfect gift for HIM! Oooolala!
