My name is Sparrow Shafer, and I’m a 34 year old woman from Washington State. In March of 2019 I suffered an injury that caused nerve damage in my hand. I began doing mandala dot art as a form of physical therapy, and it has since bloomed into my own genre of mandala design, that many of my followers say looks like a kaleidoscope image. I’ve begun working with this idea to convey my own visions into brightly colored original designs, to capture the geometric, and fractal beauty of simple dots and minimal lines.
