A great controversy should come around. The digital culture studio, MSCHF, created the product "Jesus Shoes" using religious symbolism.
We are talking about a shoe that carries 60cc of holy water in the air soles space of a Nike Air Max 97, to allow users to literally “walk on water” with every step.
The product refers to the well-known Bible text, immortalized in Matthew 14:25, and the water used comes from the Jordan River, a river that flows in the Middle East and is quoted in the Bible, then blessed with a slight coloring added to improve visibility and style.
Less than 20 pairs were produced. The starting price was $ 1,425. Despite this price, the pair is out of stock. It is currently resold on other sites for prices ranging from $ 2000 to $ 3000. The limited edition "Jesus Shoes" has been on sale since Tuesday, October 8th.
