It is not the first time that Sirakov questions the world through its colors. Unforgettable is one of his collections, "Century XXI", with which he taught us his vision of today's society. At that time the technique used was that of drawing and the different shades of gray, the games of shadows and lights, determined his thinking.
In 2018 Sirakov reappears with a new exhibition questioning nothing less than the creation of the human race.
Are we only human?
It is the question that the painter addresses to his audience in the new exhibition organized by the "Oráculo de Delfo" Gallery in Benidorm (Alicante - Spain).
This time the color chosen is red, which penetrates the eyes, attacking and percussing the soul of who observes his paintings. Strong of an intrinsic dualism, between red-love and red-blood, his works are accompanied by quotations taken from the saga "Annukari", by the writer A. Bay, to which the painter is inspired.
Perhaps we are not only human, but gods caught in a process of transformation, an unconscious metamorphosis that we dazzle from time to time in heroic and inhuman deeds.
Ivo Sirakov again inspires us with a well-prepared and dissonant exhibition regarding the current pictorial panorama, as well as his decision to leave New York for Spain, an inverse passage with respect to the trend of the last decades.
We hope that he does well and he can find the answer to his question:
Are we almost human gods?
