I've Put Together A List Of 15 John Muir Quotes That I Love And Which You Should Know

You've probably heard this before and will very likely (surely) hear this again but I (as many other people on the Internet and especially off it) am a big nature fan. I genuinely believe that going out and spending a day outdoors is beneficial for us (and there are many studies on it already). You don't even have to hike or go backpacking, just a day in the park or a walk through a wooded area is enough to recharge your batteries.
If you've gotten this far (and I hope you did), I'll cut to the chase. Most of you will have likely heard of John Muir, some might even know quite a bit about him or (hopefully) a lot.
But for all those who don't know who he was and why you should care about a list of his quotes, here goes:
John Muir was a Scottish-American author, philosopher, naturalist, geologist, conservationist, engineer, and one of the first people to advocate for the importance of preserving wilderness areas in the US.
He was also an ecological thinker who spent most of his time exploring the great outdoors, especially the Sierra Nevada, and has come to be called "John of the Mountains". John Muir is also considered by some to be one of the "Father of the National Parks". His having co-founded the Sierra Club is likely tied in to this last one.
His books, essays, and letters have been a great source of inspiration for many (myslef included), which is why I decided to pay a small homage to him.
I've done so by selecting 15 of his nature-related sayings that I love and putting them on beautiful natural landscapes so that you will enjoy both the words and the pictures.
I've talked enough, so time to enjoy and be inspired by these quotes!
