I've cut the blade from piece of old, rusty saw blade, but the most time consuming process was the handle. I decided to brake black oak in half and stabilize it in vacuum chamber using epoxy resin. The second part of the handle I've made from colorized cast epoxy- the black and pearl green looks fantastic! I've spend almost a week to make it but this knife looks very nice and it's super sharp. It cut like a butter!
