Okay Panda's this question may resonate with the ladyAnda's but I truly need some clarity from both Panda's and LandyAnda's. My bf fell upon a large sports card collection a few months back. We initially worked together in organizing them by sport, card creator and year. Things happened and I bowed out. Since then he periodically has gone thru bouts where it's all cards all day and night. If you're not a card or interested in buying one or the new box he just bought, then you do not exist.
As of late, and in yet another bout of Card Time 24/7, he has now taken it to a whole new level. Cards are everywhere!! Piles of cards on tables, couches, chairs, dressers, the floor and yes even the bed. This morning I counted 42 different piles of cards and that doesn't include the 2 boxed sets and the countless number of sleeves waiting to be used.
I know he is OCD so things take him "time" but when you have no place to sit, sleep or walk about and NOT have to either move some piles or worry about causing damage to others, it begins to weigh on you.
I've tried talking to him every way I know including picking an argument, but I'm left disappointed yet again. My question here is this, due to the spontaneous and sometimes lengthy time intervals these "episodes" occur in, could this be more of a mid life crisis, identity wavering, boredom thing or does he truly have a love for this sports card nightmare I am living in with and bc of him?
