It is the day after a Cyclone Bomb snow storm at 4 a.m. and the temperature is 9 degrees Fahrenheit (-13*c) and windchill of -8*f (-22*c). With trepidation and a healthy perception that Central Park is a dangerous place to be after dark, proved to be the completely the opposite. Despite a police presence, a lone runner and the wind, it was just me in the park and I couldn't have felt safer. Indeed a bit eerie as the photographs imply, yet it was a surreal experience, exhilarating having overcome my fear and impressively quiet.
