Well, my baby sister introduced me to this site and I thought I'd come in and introduce my Sandy and myself. Sandy is an american staffordshire terrier otherwise known as a pit. I've had her since she was 4 weeks old. Spent the first two weeks of her life bottle feeding her and for the first 2 years of her life I made all her food myself. I still do from time to time. She is 7 now. Her birthday is Dec. 10. She has been with me through ... so much. Her loyalty is uncompromising. She is a straight up brat too, and spoiled to the bone. Don't let her love-able face fool you though, if she doesn't know you; she doesn't like you and you'll know it. She will defend her home. But really I think she's just defending her food source LOL She knows commands dance, sit, stay, wait, down, "give me five", come here and as with all kids the word NO. Now, whether she chooses to listen or not... depends on her mood. She loves and accepts me on my good days and bad even when I'm cross with her she is quick to forgive. The only thing she hasn't forgiven me for is clipping her quick when she as 6 months old I tried to clip her nails. Can't do it myself ever since. Sandy is my ride or die and I can't imagine life without her. Me? I'm not as interesting. I'm a childcare provider running my own in home daycare and nanny service since 2016. I'm a Christian woman who puts God above all things, or I try to. I can tap out a few tunes on the piano :)
