The MWR Saber System is the brainchild of Shaun Sunday, owner-operator of Part Time Hero Props.
Longtime Star Wars fans we (Shaun and Robin Sunday) decided that there wasn't enough of a range for Cosplayers and saber duellers in Australia, and wanted to change that with unique, affordable designs.
It's taken us an entire year to get here, plus a little bit more.
They have a modular design, the emitters and pommels of these sabers are interchangeable with each other, allowing you to customise your sabers in quite a few combinations!
With the modular core you can also remove the core from your string saber, and put it in your base lit saber; and vice versa, swapping colours and illumination styles!
We've tested these sabers extensively, including a drop test to 20 meters.
They have a custom designed Polycarbonate chassis to help absorb the shock, and hold everything nice and tight so it can't rattle around during duelling.
The blades themselves are also incredibly tough.
They will withstand heavy duelling, for sustained periods.
These designs have been in development since early 2016, and are finally coming to you on Kickstarter!
