Every year thousands of artists get involved in Inktober, where for 31 days of October, you ink a drawing for each day. I decided to go off the usual prompt and focus on mental illnesses and disorders. While understanding that every disorder has many symptoms with degrees of severity I tried to capture one or two in a single image.
I've released prints and a book collection to continue supporting mental health with a large portion of the proceeds being donated to a northeastern Ohio mental health facility in need.
This month has been a wild one and can't thank enough the thousands of people who've reached out to me to tell me their story and share my work. It has been overwhelming to say the least. This is the rest of my Inktober, and you can see the first part here.
(Note: Though ASD isn't technically a mental disorder, it is included in the DSM-5 and felt it important to include.)
