4 July in America is known as Independence day.the Declaration of Independence was adopted on the 4th of July, 1777 by the members of second Continental Congress in Philadelphia. The adoption was announced in different states of USA. When people heard it the celebration started. This day represents the birth of America. In 1944 day of independence was declared as federal holiday. The first brave man who signed the Declaration with its ornate capitals was John Hancock, the president of the Second Continental Congress. Today, when somebody asks you for “John Hancock”. It means you should sign your name.
