'Flossy and Jim' are illustrators and designers, looking to make the world a more exciting, imaginative and fun place to be!

Illustrator Lynette Jordan, 36 and partner James Dare, 45 are behind Dartmouth-based 'Flossy and Jim'. They live in Brixham with Lynette's son Kai, 12 and daughter Kaitlin, ten. Welcome to their colourful world...

"Our dream is to eventually live in a cave house in Spain and eat cheese," says Lynette Jordan, but for now, she and partner James Dare are blissfully content doing their thing in Dartmouth.

If you're a believer in fate, then you'll certainly be convinced that it had a hand in bringing this couple as partners in life and laughs together.

Working under the banner Flossy and Jim (Flossy's a tribute to Lynette's great nan), their aim is to create a sunnier world with their uplifting cheery designs. They make fun logos for businesses, illustrate children's books by commission and also produce a wealth of colourful giftware, sold online. Particularly popular are their endearingly funny cartoon portraits of real families, which are created to order.

In 2015 they won the Excellence Award for 'Best New Business', and were also nominated for the 'MAD Awards Best Blog', the 'Venus Awards' and also the 'Torbay Social Media Awards!'
