Presenting photo series: Single Skynes.
Living in a new country like Singapore, the buildings become monotonous. As a first time visitor to the UK and Europe, and as a fashion student, my brain automatically started looking for inspiration. The architecture took my heart and soul. So beautiful and intricate. And for a city known to be dull with constant rains, I was lucky to have witnessed a sunny weather instead.
I took pictures in London, Bath and in Salisbury. Riding on the 'hop on hop off' buses, the pictures show the top of some famous locations and monuments and some show the top of just old unknown houses and buildings that took to my interest.
Then I photoshopped them with a dreamy feel of colourful clouds to make them look happy and joyful. Contrary and ironic to the dull mystery of the London rainy aura.
The series is called 'SINGLE SKYNES'. As in single subject of the various sky lines, against a backdrop of irony, a sunny day in London/UK.
