In our busy world I have been craving more connection. Once I found out about "autolikes" and "autocomments" on Instagram I chose a word of 2017 - "Intentional". I want to be more intentional about being present in every moment, having fewer but more meaningful connections with others, and intentionally choosing foods based on my hunger and what nourishes my body.
Old habits die hard, and after reading that most resolutions don't last, but that habits that you see or write down are more achievable, it gave me an idea.
I just launched a line of high quality gemstone bracelets and necklaces. I create custom snap medallions that allows you to affordably personalize your jewelry.
Popular images include kids, dogs, a dream house, kids artwork and more. I decided to design my jewelry with my own word to remind me of my "word" every day.
I used Picmonkey, my preferred online software design tool, to create a graphic with the word "Intentional". This software makes is super easy to design a beautiful image, even if, like me, you aren't a designer.
Once I had my design I used it to create a custom medallion that I snap onto my chakra bracelet
When I start to feel like life is getting crazy, and I'm losing connection with my intention for the world, I see my intention on my bracelet and it makes me stop. Think. Reflect and regroup.
