One year ago, I was struck with an idea. What would happen if everyone suddenly woke up, committed to doing the "right thing?" In my head it was clear what the right thing was, but I didn't want to define it. I wanted my characters to do that.
Maybe this will be a clue: This idea came after I spent some time helping a friend overcome depression, largely conquer her PTSD, and cook her the meals necessary for her to win her battle against Fibromyalgia. At the time we first connected, she was nearly bedridden with no job. Today she is a happy, fully functional woman, thanks to a lot of hard work and the help of someone who took the time to give her the assistance she needed.
