For me, the chase of an unique photo is a sport. I am not saying that I am very good at it, but I try and most important: I enjoy it :)

Give them your vision: First Person
Become the subject!
Look downwards!
Take it up high!
Look towards the sky!
And turn around once in a while!
Get down, get level with your subject.
Flip it up side down!
Get indirect: Look for reflections!
Take it close, and wide!
