When my son was 5-ish, he told me he wanted a different mom. I said, "tell me what you're looking for - I'll help you find her." This was his reaction to having to brush his teeth. Still haven't found a new mom for him who doesn't ask him to brush teeth. He's 23yo. I haven't found her.
