I Used Every Colour Except Black To Paint This Black Cow On Dartmoor

This black angus cow, just wandering into the 24"x8" canvas stands mid-meal, knee-deep in ferns, gorse and heather. Although this is a black animal, I actually used burnt umber, ultramarine and cerulean blues, cadmium red and a little magenta to create the right effect.
