I Use Old Lenses And Photoshop To Create Portraits That Looks Like They Are From 1880

I always loved the look of Wet Plate Collodion, one of the first technic to take photographies, but this chemical technic from the 1880's is very difficult to master, it's toxic, and very expensive, so i wanted to try to reproduce the look of those old photo plates with modern camera and modern models.

I also used to make some experiments with very old lenses from 1880 and older to get the same kind of image, and then using photoshop layers, I managed to get a very similar look to the original Collodion images.

It took me months to get the good combination of process to get the right effect.
