Hi! My name is Juli. I’m a master of dry needle felting. I make needle felted sculptures from New Zealand sheep wool. Recently I posted an article on Panda in which I showed a lot of my needle felted sculptures.
Now I want to show you the photos of the process of creating needle felted chinchilla! Her height 5 inches (12.5 cm). Eyes are made of plastic. The paws I made from polymer clay. For the whiskers I used fishing line. She has a wire frame, so her arms, legs and tail are movable and she can take different poses. It took me about two weeks to complete this work.
