I always take my professional camera with me. Well, almost always.
That night I decided not to take it since it was raining, but as soon as I got into the taxi I regretted it. Kyoto was as magical at night as it was during the day. Luckily my smart phone camera was not bad at all and so I managed to capture this unique winter vibe in Kyoto. This photo became one of my most popular photographs!
It goes to show you, you don't really need expensive equipment, just a good eye, instinct and passion.
