Finial Master Ilhami Zeyrek, from Ankara, is one of the last representatives of an almost extinct handicraft, finial making. He makes finials and sells them not only in Turkey but also all around the world, even to Japan. Zeyrek explains that sadly finial making is coming to its end since no more apprentices are willing to learn the craft.
