I Teach My Partially Deaf Cattle Dog Different Tricks To Keep Him Out Of Trouble

Australian Cattle Dogs are a high energy breed. Their original purpose was to work all day moving large herds of 1800 lb cattle. Crossed with the native Dingo to withstand the Australian climate, this breed is also very intelligent and can be destructive if not given a proper outlet for its energy. While physical exercise is important, mental stimulation and having a job is very important for dogs who were bred to work. However, many dogs don't have the same jobs they used to.
We don't live on a working Cattle Ranch, so instead I work with my Cattle Dog, Kronos, learning all kinds of tricks from helping with the laundry and household chores to packing himself in a suitcase. This keeps him entertained and happy and keeps the house in one piece. Together we hope to inspire other dog owners to have fun with their dogs and to do more with their pups.
