In January 2020 I visited an ice castle in Edmonton, Canada. The castle was 'sculpted' from water and included a fountain, fireplace, igloo, and multiple ice slides. The sections of ice were all enhanced by lighting which changed colors in a sequence.

This fountain had three spouts of water which only just managed to capture on film as they were a bit unpredictable!

Multiple passages led throughout the castle

A projector lit up this sculpture to look like a bunch of flowers

This was one of the slides made of ice that children rode inside the castle. I hope they were well rugged up!

I loved the frozen stalactites hanging above our heads

Some lovely faerie lights!
