During quarantine I took up photography as a hobby to pass the time while social distancing. My family had started fostering animals, and the portraits I shot helped them get adopted much more quickly. I branched out into photographing birds and other animals near my house, as well as at the zoo. Here are some of my favorite shots!

Our first foster dog, Kala. She was found running loose near the animal shelter in Gallop, NM and arrive malnourished and terrified. Now she's living her best life with her new family!

Foster kitten Django sitting in the windowsill.

Nature is beautiful.

A bird on a summer afternoon.

A redwing blackbird.

Who's watching who?

An okapi reaching for its next meal.

King of the jungle.

Lucious the heron at a lake near my house.

Enjoying the sunset.

An inquisitive blue jay.

Nature's finest colors.

A butterfly taking a pause on a leaf.

My grandmother's cat, Miss Muffet, enjoying her modeling career.
