I Spent $20,000 Finding The Right Scratcher For My Cats

I love looking after my cats. Like, I really love it. Their wellbeing occupies my brain at least 15 per cent of the time. It doesn’t sound like a big number, but if you think about it that really is quite a lot of time.
There has always been one particular thing about cat life that irked me: scratching posts. They are such unsatisfying things.
The small ones float across the floor whenever they are scratched. The carpet covered towers are so fugly that I found the compromise on space and looks too much to bear. Don’t even get me started on the random blobs of cardboard they call cat scratchers these days.
I googled how to make my own and found a DIY idea for a really cute scratcher that hangs from your doorknob. But it would have to hang from a door that was permanently closed and even then, would swing around wildly unless my cats perfected a precise downwards scratching motion.

I continued with my obsession and learned so much that I decided to start a business.

It took me a $20,000 investment...

...but I have finally found a cat scratcher that doesn’t irk me or my cats.

They love it, I love it.

Many other cats now love it too.
