I See My Name

Back then, when I was a student, some academy lecturers kept asking me ‘Agne, why do you use so many writings on your clothes?‘. It was hard to explain, it felt like it was just bursting from my heart, but not knowing what to answer I would just smile and shrug my shoulders. The speechless and light conflict was going on for a while, while I kept writing. IN ALL WAYS POSSIBLE. To my diary, on clothes, everywhere I could to be honest.

At that time my favorite kind of pasta was in the shape of tiny letters, from which I would form words whilst eating: I am, love, hate, life, he, forever, dream, fantasy and so on. Everything would depend on my mood.

I liked letters, sentences, and symbols.

I would have pleasant shivers going through my body, when someone posted a picture from the beach, with 'I LOVE YOU‘ (or something similar) craved in the sand.

I started traveling around the world the need to write was growing.

Words: sometimes as short as LOVE, but holding the biggest meaning in the entire world. So how couldn‘t/can‘t I write? (Even now, while writing this post, I‘m wearing a sweater with a tiny 'NASA‘ written on it. Connection with the outer space is concrete. Believe me.)

‘Agne, why do you use so many writings on your clothes?’ it was echoing in my head again.

‘Because I‘m a writer‘ I would answer now.

‘WRITER WRITES everywhere’, I would add and with the same wide smile, I would shrug my shoulders again and would walk away, to continue writing. IN ALL WAYS POSSIBLE. To my diary, on clothes, everywhere I could to be honest.

Hmmm, a thought came to me. I haven‘t written on clothes in a long time :)

I could write ‘I am, love, hate, life, he, forever, dream, fantasy and so on’ from my alphabet pasta stories.

Or maybe better?

Maybe MAGNETIC, CHAMPAGNE, IMAGINE, CHANGE, ANGER... the words that have my short four-letter name AGNE within them.

Or maybe I could mix and match them 'I am MAGNETIC’, ‘CHAMPAGNE love’, ‘IMAGINE life’, ‘ANGER forever’, ‘ANGEL dream or fantasy’ and so on.

Here you go an unplanned brainstorming lesson.

 

And at the end, if anyone asks you ‘WHY?’ the best answer would probably be ‘It‘s just the way I am’ and continue doing what you were doing.

It‘s that simple.

Maybe I should start writing on my clothes again?
