You might know I have been in mental health recovery for almost 5 years now. On bad days I often find myself behind my laptop, watching Netflix and trying to get through the day. I started watching the Vampire Diaries because I like vampire movies and series, but quickly I realised a lot of the things they discuss (overdramatically) seemed to correspond to how mental illnesses (in my case: evasive personality disorder) feel sometimes.
