I'm a special effects make-up artist who specializes in showing people how anyone can transform themselves into anything, or anyone, through the power of make-up. I've spent countless hours building a make-up tutorial channel on YouTube, and loving (nearly) every minute - it's tough, but wonderful.
Inspired by another YouTube make-up artist, the amazing Jordan Hanz, I decided to film 31 days of Halloween, a scary make-up tutorial for EVERY day in October - no mean feat, I can tell you! I wanted to give lots of variety and choice to folks who want to create an epic Halloween transformation, on any budget, and with any skill set.
As a prequel to this, and to create more work for myself (willing glutton for 'punishment') I created 100 Years of Horror - a short film, celebrating all things horror, in which I authentically recreated, on myself, an iconic horror make-up from each decade for the last 100 years. I'm so freaking proud of it, and it really shows the true power of make-up.
There will be a tutorial, during my 31 days of Halloween, for each of the looks featured, along with a zombie unicorn, a fire demon, some 80's horror icons and other assorted creeps!
