Everybody gets in a slump. As a stay-at-home mom for several months, I didn't know what to do with myself. I felt lost and without direction. I had always loved to paint and make crafts for family and friends as gifts, but working at a corporate job had halted that for a long time... I just had no inspiration. In November of 2018, I started an Instagram account - @theenchantedmountain - and everything changed. Now, in addition to taking care of my adorable three-year-old, I paint whenever I can. I truly enjoy it, and in April of this year I joined the #100dayproject, with my goal to simply improve on my wildlife painting skills. Here are some of my favorite little paintings over the last 10 months.
