I was inspired to create this collection thanks to the brilliant minds of Brian Cox and Stephen Hawking. I'm not smart enough to unravel the wonders of physics and black holes, but I can paint and wonder! And that's exactly what I did.
Cosmic Nature is a collection of oil and watercolours combining my love of the natural world and the beauty of outer space. You don't expect to see a guinea pig out in space, or a chameleon transform into the cosmos, but that's the joy of painting. You get to choose the subject, the colours, the way everything fits together, however unlikely it may be.
My works are usually in oil paints or watercolours and are inspired by the natural world and travelling. I paint from the sunbaked little island of Malta.
