I Never Knew A Swan Could Be So Beautiful...

I had the privilege of living near a large park with a pond, where swans daily displayed their beauty. When I began discovering nature photography, these swans were among my favorite objects. I think this may be the most romantic photograph I took so far.... Look at the golden light that is cast on the scene by the setting sun.

When the sun is low, the light hits the wings of this swan, showing the amazing beauty of them. Wings so powerful, they can lift this bird into the air and carry it for thousands of miles...

We all think swans are always white, right? Imagine my surprise when I suddenly noticed this BLACK swan.... with curly feathers! Amazing...
