The Isolator Cup contains fins that reduce the heat on the outside and keep your hands cool. No need to burn your hands on a hot drink.
The design is created by Studio Lorier and inspired by the shape of an engine’s heat sink. Due to the shape of the narrow fins, less heat will transfer to the outside. This isolates the heat and saves your hands from burning.
The porcelain mugs are handmade in the Netherlands, and contain a food safe, non-toxic glaze that is dishwasher and microwave proof. Available colors are Blue, Green, Coral and White. A matching saucer and silicone lid are optional additions to make it your favorite cup for daily use.
Studio Lorier is currently running a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.com to seek funds and start production. The campaign ends 31 March and the cups will be delivered in June 2020.
