Melanie Yong has been sewing for more than 15 years. She is the creator & designer behind her label Her Sweet Embrace.
Her love for miniature things, books, and embroidery became the inspiration for creating these one-of-kind necklaces.
The flowers are sewn using the French knots technique, tiny little knots packed tightly together making it tactile and such a joy to run your fingers over.
The pages are made using acid free, heavy weight paper. They are hand-bound and stitched into a book using traditional bookbinding method.
Finally, the book is covered with fabric and a 40cm long chain is attached.

Melanie takes about 5 days to make each necklace, lots of love went into each of them and she enjoys every moment of putting them together.
