Several years ago I was looking for a way to use the colorful magazine pages from the zillion magazines I had collected over the years. After several paper cuts and many hours spent rolling the paper strips into "beads", these colorful and Eco-friendly wall clocks were born! As soon as I started showing these to friends, family, and the internet, people from around the globe wanted one. I had no idea these wall clocks would create such a stir, but they did! I have created clocks from thousands of hand rolled beads as small as 4" in diameter, and as large as 30" in diameter. Depending on the size, one clock can take up to 6 weeks to make. Each clock is handmade with colorful paper that would have eventually made it's way to the recycle bin. I love creating each one, and have started to create large pieces of wall art and other home decor items as well. These clocks are a great example of up-cycling and perfect for the person who love Eco-Friendly home decor.
