I Draw Each Frame Of My Psychedelic Animations By Hand

My name is Ori Toor and I'm an artist from Tel-Aviv. I studied illustration and animation but always struggled with the preparation, sketching and planning part of the process. My solution for this: Improvisation.

My creative process involves drawing frame upon frame of animation without thinking about it too much. I get into this flow state where I can just create without the frustration of doubting my actions.

Sometimes I make small loops and "glue" them together (using after effects) like organic Lego blocks in order to create big wobbly clusters. Sometimes I just make a big loop in a circular frame. The results are initially unknown to me and never fail to surprise.
