This is one style of borosilicate glass art marbles that I make out here at MPX Glassworks studios. The color on the front of this particular marble is called Serendipity which means it is Amber Purple glass color over White. As the Amber Purple is melted it turns clear and slowly turns colors after its cooled down. The White behind the translucent Amber Purple really helps the color to pop!
The Honeycomb it self is made by imploding clear into the Amber Purple. This not only creates a deep cell it also prevents the Amber Purple from turning certain colors.
This particular marble is relativity small and measures about 1.25" in diameter.
