I Create Wholesome Comics Featuring Everyday Situations About A Cute Creature Called "Bibs" (35 Pics)

I wanted to create Bibs' character to spread positivity in the online space. I myself aspire to be like Bibs. He has his own struggles, but he also sees a lot of positivity in the world around him and takes joy in simple things such as getting to know people (and other creatures) he meets and eating delicious food.

One of the traits I admire the most about Bibs is his openness to new connections. Making new friends as a young adult is not easy. I struggle with it myself, like many of us do. Sometimes the issue is my anxiety, sometimes it's the fear of rejection. Bibs, on the other hand, doesn't overthink it too much. He goes out into the world, finds a friend-shaped creature, and offers to be their friend. He doesn't miss out on the wonderful connections because of fear of rejection. I believe that we all need to be a little bit like Bibs when it comes to putting ourselves out there.

You have probably noticed that Bibs does a lot of things in my comics, from eating ice cream to going on magical adventures. When I create a new Bibs comic, I usually draw inspiration from my own day: What made me happy today? What did I struggle with? Did something funny happen to me? So, a lot of Bibs' experiences are relatable because they are my own to some extent. And I hope that when people discover my comics, they are able to relate to Bibs but also see some of the hardships we face on a daily basis in a more positive, optimistic light, just like Bibs!

When I first started drawing Bibs comics, I was worried that I would eventually run out of ideas. But I soon discovered that if I just pay close attention to my daily life, I will discover an endless source of inspiration for comics. Not only did taking inspiration from my daily life allow me to come up with a lot more comic ideas, but it also made them more relatable and engaging for my audience.

All this being said, if my comics make someone smile, that means I have achieved my goal! I hope that Bibs and his adventures bring joy to people, encourage them to have a more positive outlook on life, and find joy in simple everyday things!
