Greyjoys would only depend on wave power and on wind power. That is a lot of energy that they cannot sell, another bummer for this house. Nowadays, they have a very hard situation to deal with due to Cersei's plan to leave the Westeros and Essos climate agreement. They simply can drown. But what is dead may never die indeed.
Rumor has it, the Targaryens have a secret weapon - dragons. Some older people say that the Targaryens have discovered how to use the thermonuclear reaction inside the dragons for electricity production. This was the main reason why the Targaryens originally held the throne.
