Living in the city inspired me to bridge a connection with nature and be sorrounded when I relax with a bit of nostalgia for the forest and our own roots. I've finalized the collection with the 1.5m long sculpture of The Tree People, a work about belonging. In addition there are few of my thematic wire works around the same subject. The casings are made from modelling wire, stainless stell and copper mesh.
The sculptures were done in a time span of 2 y while working on the wire and felt creations you can see here: https://www.boredpanda.com/i-spent-1-y-modelling-copper-wire-ancient-plants-and-needle-felting-forest-creatures/

The Tree People - forming, stiring and breaking

Rooting from the wall - plant roots inspired from the early land plants trying to send their support and nourishment providers into unknown territory.

The Worlds Beneath - dormant worlds guarded by rivers and forests, a microcosm beneath our feet, symbol of the hidden nature.

Natures Hand - it helps us grow and gives us free will. We can be curious and still be part of it developing through numberless connections and entanglements.
