I Made Swear Words Coloring Books That Are Inspirational

You want a free potted cat?

That's the title for a link that I left in a Swear Word Coloring Facebook group that garnered me almost 700 hundred newsletter followers and about 2500 views on my website - in a two day period.

And, all the link led to was one of my coloring pages for a swear word coloring book of mine. The coloring page? A cat sitting on a potted plant with words above her, saying, "First I shit in this Pot". Below her, and at the bottom of the page, read, "Then, I take over the fucking world!"

People got a laugh and it started a flow of hundreds of daily visits to my web page - www.lacybloom.com - where they could download free coloring pages and check out any upcoming coloring book projects that I was working on.

But, that's not really why I'm writing this.

Here's why:

I constantly receive facebook messages or comments or even emails from people who express their thanks for helping them through a challenge or two in their life with the words, phrases, and illustrations in my coloring books.

I then had an idea.

So, I'm a small fry in the adult coloring book business, but what if this small fry could make something out of nothing? What if I could help and inspire more and more people with the coloring books that I create? And, heck, place a swear word here and there.

First off, why swear words? One of my hero's once said, "When you include a swear word in a discussion at a positive and opportune time, it shuts down the noise in another person's mind, and gets them to pause and really look at things."

Okay, he didn't say it exactly like that, but he said it almost like that (I just can't find the dang quote).

Second off, my idea:

Kickstarter.

No, no...don't roll your eyes. I'm not trying to take money from you or to sell you on my coloring books.

I've figured out how much money I need to raise ($3,000), in order expand my books from Etsy to the top of Amazon, by purchasing professional covers, by hiring marketing "people", and funding my publishing, so I can help motivate and uplift, and help people find their laughter again, and even their voice.

People need art. People need relaxation and focus. People need positivity in their lives. This is why I'm writing you.

I would love your help to spread the word about my kickstarter campaign. My stuff isn't lousy, nor am I attempting to get rich quick. My stuff is top notch and I will be selling my inspirational swear word coloring books (once I am able to get my campaign funded) at an inexpensive price.
