In today's world, we do everything on our smartphones. From calling a cab to shopping to sending emails. Even keeping up with friends and family is done via touch screens now.
Pakistani graphic designer Zain Naqvi had a similar idea after his laptop died. He decided to put this notion to the test, by designing and illustrating using nothing but his Samsung Note 3.
Talking to Naqvi we discovered more about the works. The 100+ is a self-initiated experimental project that consists of explorations and visual experiments. It took over 4 months for Naqvi to complete this and according to him at times took multiple apps to complete one work.
According to Zain Naqvi,
"The idea for the project came when my Macbook died late in the December of 2016. Leading me to experiment and doodle on the phone. Some of the apps used to create these pieces are Instagram, Layout, Snapseed, Phonto, Deeme, Glitch Art, Text on Photo and 8 Bit Me.Even Snapchat. Some of the works showcased here ended up becoming actual designs for clients."
