I am a leatherworker specializing in small goods such as wallets. A customer commissioned this wallet and asked me to take photos of the build process, but I decided to do them one better and film a short video.
This is made with Italian vegetable tanned leather for the interior, and matte American Alligator tail for the exterior. I hand stitch and hand finish every piece. I tried to show as much of the process as possible but due to time constraints only the most visually interesting bits are in here, but in general one of these wallets takes around 4-5 hours for me to make.
