I Illustrated Poop On The Shoe, The First Potty Training Whodunit!

Poop on the Shoe is not your traditional potty training book, but kids and adults are really loving it. So much so that we (myself and the author) are starting to get a bunch of happy emails and messages, and even an occasional photo. What’s not to love though? We all love a good mystery and there’s no reason that should not include toddlers as well. It’s the perfect length for keeping their attention and each page keeps the mystery going in a simple, but fun manner. So how did this book come about?
In May of 2017 I met Jeremy Blankenship at Art-A-Whirl in Minneapolis, MN. While looking at my art on display he casually asked if I’d ever thought of illustrating a children’s book and that he had written one about 10 years earlier. My answer was yes, and when he told me the title “Poop on the Shoe” I just chuckled and thought “cool!!” A few weeks later I received the manuscript and got to work. It took quite a few months to illustrate since this was my first attempt at this type of project and I didn’t really know what I was doing. I’m happy with the results though.
On a side note...the word "poop" appears 25 times in this book! See if your little one can spot all of them.
We published it on Amazon.com and it’s available in paperback or a Kindle version. Just search for Poop on the Shoe!
