I am Paul Eis, a 19 years old architecture student. In the summer of 2015, I was walking through the streets of Berlin looking for some nice architecture to photograph. But I had to realize how monotonous the cityscape of my hometown is in the most places.
I thought how it would look like when the buildings are not as gray as they are, but being colorful.
So I started to add bright colors to my photos and posting them on Instagram.
Because of the overwhelming feedback, I got there I started a larger series. And I did not stay in Berlin. I also photographed buildings from different cities in Germany like Hamburg and Munich. But also from the Netherlands and recently from Austria where I started to study last year.
I think colors could help to make the architecture more interesting and more lively.
